Egg Moves:

- Hammer Arm

I think that's the most popular Rampardos set. The item could be Choice Band, but I prefer Life Orb in this case. I never used Rampardos, however... any ideas?

I have about 3/4 of those EMs I think. I can let you borrow it if needed. Can even make it so it can pass a matching ball for you as its already 5IV and really want to see something like Dive Ball on Cranisos o_o

How the hell is a dive ball supposed to match that thing?

If you want a matching ball, at least make it a MATCHING ball.

(That means Poké Ball Heavy Ball)

Alright I'll give him a better matching illegal ball Very Happy

Dive is the only matching Blue Ball, Gray Balls other than heavy dont exist, make sure your aware of Apricorn illegalities first. Though if illegalities were allowed I'd be willing to accept Heavy.

Actually now that I think about it... the only legal balls on fossils are poke and dream.

I think the same egg moves but with Sheer Force instead of Mold Breaker. It will work well with moves like Rock Slide, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Crunch

I just took a gander at his moveset and I didn't even know he also gets Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt. Hahaha. But his Special Attack is pitiful.

I agree just one set. But I'm voting for Sheer Force over Mold Breaker. The Ability Capsule is useless on it since Sheer Force is its Hidden Ability. Life Orb + Sheer Force is I think better.

Yeah, it does get iron head and Zen headbutt to play with with sheer force. I really do like mold breaker though, it's a very underrated ability. I'd probably give the edge to sheer force.

Mold Breaker is the best ability due to being able to Break Sturdies, hit Levitators w/ EQ, etc.

Sheer Force is more useful for certain moves but those moves arent as great of coverage compared to other moves like SE/HS/EQ/HA unless you make a Mixed/Special set.

You can't use the AC to get the hidden ability from a normal ability but i think you can use it to get the normal ability from the hidden ability...

Also, Blue, what you said is only true for pokes that are actually catchable in the Dream World. So you still need to breed Amaura in a Poke Ball.

It is in a Pokeball, i said my personal one is in a Heavy Ball, I bred both in the past Razz

HA->Normal or the other way around doesnt work. This has been discussed already.

If HA is legal and its not one of the event starters male only meaning that it can be legally reballed w/ HA and bred w/ X/Y w/o HA so Dive Ball is legal and it looks far better than Pokeball would.

Also I feel as if you brainwashed rafa, he's agreeing w/ everything you say o_o

No Mademoiselle, I thought so too, but that doesn't work either. And yeah, they are two really good abilities, the only reason sheer force may have the edge is free damage on the moves, helping out non stab stuff.

Mold Breaker>Sheer Force breaking through Sturdies and hitting Levitators w/ a locked in EQ is great and fits into its wall breaking potential. The moves that Sheer Force affects I feel arent worth it in terms of their coverage compared to its Rock/Ground which it all it truly needs.

It's impossible to get Sheer Force from Mold Breaker, and it's easy to get Mold Breaker from Sheer Force. People here have expressed the wish to have Sheer Force. So Sheer Force wins, it's as simple as that.

I already have the HA Cranidos thanks to bash. I'll wait a while for more comments, though I think most people already commented. One thing no one discussed about yet is whether we should go with Iron Head or Iron Tail. Should I stick with Iron Head because of the accuracy?

I dont mind Sheer Force, Just truly believe with Adamant's set it wont function as well as other users. A sheer Force set w/ max SpA essentially reaches 297 and with its special movepool its actually pretty good. Sheer Force deserves a Rash set imo and I wouldnt mind if its not even 6IV if we can keep Mold Breaker for Adamant.

Yeah, iron tail is terrible, and I cannot believe Smogon ever said that was viable. 75 percent accurate Steel move. Geez.

Bones, I see where you're coming from, mold breaker probably does fit it's role better. But sheer force is certainly viable, and since this thing sucks, I think breeding one rash with sheer force could be a good compromise. A short drive to adamant mold breaker, and this way we essentially get two sets for one. Thoughts everyone?

I think mold breaker is the better ability. I was suggesting sheer force to have another set (a mixed set like bunsel suggested). It's sp atk might be low, but it does get recoil free life orb boost so I think it deserves a set.

This thing sucks too much for 2 sets. You can make a poll to decide on one set (rash sheer force or adamant mold breaker), but like Bunsel said, sheer force is probably the best way to please everyone since it makes it possible to breed for the other set, while the opposite doesn't work. But yeah if you want to make a poll that's fine, just write (HA) next to the rash sheer force option so that people who didn't follow the discussion know what the dilemma is about Razz

I don't think it works that way though.

From Bulbapedia:

The Ability Capsule can only be used on a Pokemon that belongs to a species that has two standard Abilities. For example, it can be used to change a Pidgey's Ability from Keen Eye to Tangled Feet (or vice versa), but it cannot be used on a Pikachu (whose standard Ability is always Static). It also cannot be used to change a Pokemon to or from its species's Hidden Ability.

Bash is right, AC can't go to or from HA. I've tried it before. The reason it's easy to change is because when you breed it will give you a mold breaker pretty quickly.
